BPA imports into China rose to 45,401 tonnes in July 2009, increasing 13.6% month-on-month, statistics released from Chinese Customs revealed on Tuesday, but the figure was similar to volumes imported in the same period last year. Korea overtook Japan as the largest supplier of BPA in July, having sold 12,444 tonnes or 27.4% of the total volumes to China.
