Taiwan's Nan Ya Plastics restarts No 4 BPA line, shuts No 2

Taiwan’s largest BPA producer Nan Ya Plastics restarted its 130,000 tonne/year No 4 BPA unit in Mailiao this week while another line was taken off line. The No 4 line was restarted to prevent technical difficulties in restarting the line in future if it is idled for too long. The unit was taken off line in October last year due to poor production margins, as weak demand and ample supply in the region weighed on prices. Meanwhile, Nan Ya's No 2 line with 100,000 tonne/year capacity in the same petrochemical complex was shut down for maintenance activities. There is no plan to restart this line soon.

： 重启13万吨/年的4号装置，关闭10万吨/年的2号装置，开工率应该不会高吧 毕竟理由是担忧装置闲置期长，对设备不好
