Brazilian ethanol exports in July fell by 19% from a year earlier to 487m litres (129m gal), Brazil’s foreign trade ministry said on Monday. However, exports of the biofuel in July were up by 16% from 420m litres in June, the government said. Ethanol exports averaged $359/m³ (€251/m³) in July. That compares with $355/m³ in June and $466/m³ in July 2008, the foreign trade ministry said.
