Polychem Indonesia will restart its 125,000 tonne/year MEG line in Tangerang, west Java within the day after it was taken off line late last week. The strong earthquake that struck Java on Wednesday delayed the scheduled restart of the plant. Polychem Indonesia shut down its two MEG lines late last week following an outage at one of its power stations. The first line with a 90,000 tonne/year capacity was restarted early this week, the source said. “We would likely restart the second line later today,” he added. Polychem is Indonesia’s sole MEG producer.
