Saudi’s Sharq further delays MEG No 4 start-up

Saudi Arabia’s Eastern Petrochemical (Sharq) has pushed back the start-up of its No 4 MEG line in Al-Jubail to around October this year from the second quarter. The 700,000 tonne/year facility was originally scheduled to start operations in October 2008 but the start-up had been repeatedly delayed.
