S Korea’s Kumho to cut SBR, BR output on soft demand

Korea Kumho Petrochemical Co (KKPC), Asia’s largest synthetic rubber producer, will cut operating rates at its 480,000 tonne/year SBR plant in Ulsan at 80% and its 222,000 tonne/year BR plant in Yeosu at 90% this month due to weak demand.
