US Kronos proposes $150/tonne hike in Asia TiO2

Kronos Worldwide has announced a $150/tonne (€101/tonne) price increase for all titanium dioxide grades sold outside of North America and Europe effective 1 December.Markets affected by the proposed price hike include Asia Pacific, Latin America, Middle East and Africa.Improving TiO2 demand and declining inventory levels were among the main factors behind the push for higher prices.
