Taiwan’s CPDC eyes mid-December caprolactam unit turnaround

Taiwan’s China Petrochemical Development Corporation (CDPC) plans to start a three-week turnaround at its 180,000 tonne/year caprolactam unit at Kaohsiung next week.The turnaround was expected to end in early January. The firm’s other caprolactam unit at the same site, which has a capacity of 100,000 tonnes/year, would be operating at normal rates.
