Taiwan Prosperity Chemical Corp (TPCC) plans to shut its phenol-acetone plant（The plant can produce 340,000 tonnes/year of phenol and 209,000 tonnes/year of acetone） at Kaohsiung for a scheduled turnaround in late December.The plant would be taken off line for two weeks, in line with a maintenance shutdown at its electricity supplier Taiwan Power Company
