Mitsubishi Japan to restart phenol-acetone unit in H2 March

Japan’s Mitsubishi Chemical plans to restart its phenol-acetone plant in Kashima in the second half of March. The unit, with a capacity of 250,000 tonnes/year of phenol and 150,000 tonnes/year of acetone, was taken offline in early February due to weak market conditions.
