Gaoqiao Petrochemical, a subsidiary of Chinese energy major Sinopec, has nearly completed the expansion of its 60,000 tonne/year No 2 phenol-acetone unit in Pudong, Shanghai.The plant’s capacity would be increased to 100,000 tonnes/year after debottlenecking.
