Shanxi Shenmu Chemical has resumed production at its 200,000 tonne/year line of its 600,000 tonne/year methanol plant in early August in Shanxi, northwest China, after a planned two-week turnaround. The second 400,000 tonne/year line had continued production at normal operating rates.
