Qinghai Zhonghao Natural Gas Chemical Co’s plans to restart its 420,000 tonne/year methanol plant in Ge’ermu city, northwest China, in September after a maintenance shutdown. The company halted production at its 300,000 tonne/year line in early July for an estimated 50-day turnaround. The second 120,000 tonne/year line was subsequently shut for maintenance in mid July for about 40 days.
