Saudi Arabia's International Methanol Co (IMC) plans to restart its 1m tonne/year methanol plant in Al Jubail on 30 August after its annual turnaround.
The plant was shut on 6 August for maintenance of around 25 days.
IMC is a joint venture between Saudi International Petrochemical Co (Sipchem) and Japan-Arabia Methanol Co (JAMC).
JAMC is a special purpose subsidiary owned by a consortium of Japanese companies including Mitsui & Co. Limited (Mitsui) (55%), Mitsubishi Corporation (Mitsubishi) (15%), Daicel Chemical Industries Limited (Daicel) (15%) and Iino Kaiun Kaisha Limited (Iino) (15%).
IMC将于8月30重启其年产100万的甲醇装置。
