Shenhua Ningxia eyes China methanol unit restart in Nov

China’s Shenhua Ningxia is expected to restart its 250,000 tonne/year methanol unit in early November following a scheduled maintainance shutdown on 10 October. Market sources indicated that the shutdown did not affect methanol supply as there were other domestic producers as well as imports.Total demand for methanol in China stands at around 12m tonnes/year.

陈燕： 据悉，神华宁夏煤业将于11月初重启其25万吨/年的甲醇装置，其装置于10月10日左右停车检修至今，且一直处于库存销售中。 市场人士表示此次停车没有影响甲醇的供应，因为国内还有很多其他生产商外加进口资源。中国甲醇的年需求将近1200万。
